But I would imagine you would need to really hustle to make iht in the industry training horses, and I would imagine you would need a second income until you are set as far as clients. I made a decent salary, but I had a lot of perks which made up for it. I worked up to be an assistant trainer for a World Champ in Texas. To live well, and male good money you need a backer. From my stand point, I'm the only one in my family who rides horses, so it's really hard to do it by yourself. I guess if you have a family who rides and supports you, because they all do it, then I see that working. Lot's of folks are successful and make a living without big money backing.
